1 050 000 SEK granted to Project on Open Access monographs
The project “Towards Quality-Controlled OA Monographs in Sweden: Exploring the Possibilities for a Consortium-based Approach” has been granted 1 050 000 SEK for 2012 and 2013. It is co-financed by the National Library of Sweden, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and the Swedish Research Council. The project will take place at the universities of Linköping, Lund, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Uppsala. David Lawrence, head of department at Publishing Infrastructure, a part of Linköping university library, has been appointed project leader.
The project aims to advance improved quality-control and increased publishing of Swedish scientific Open Access monographs, through a consortium-based approach. For more information, please see the National Library of Sweden website.
