New discovery tool Search@LiUB (Beta) released!
On the 3rd of April the university library released a new discovery tool, Search@LiUB. Search@LiUB is built on EDS, EBSCO Discovery solution (read more about EDS on the EBSCO website), and consists of a large metadata index. Search@LiUB enables, for example, searching among journal articles and books at the same time.
This is the library’s first step towards a self-developed and LiU-integrated interface, which will be built during this year. Current search tool LiUBSearch, now running parallelly with Search@LiUB, will be wholly replaced by Search@LiUB in October.
Please observe that the released version of Search@LiUB is a beta. The university library is most thankful for feedback from users of Search@LiUB, preferably through e-mail. The beta version of Search@LiUB is, for the time being, available only in English.
