Publish Open Access for free in Springer journals
An agreement now in effect with the scientific publisher Springer gives authors at Linköping University the right to publish their articles Open Access in Springer journals without extra cost and with immediate free access.
The agreement Linköping University Library has entered, called Springer Compact, is a pilot negotiated by the National Library of Sweden and will be in place from now until December 2018.
Springer Compact covers approximately 1 700 Open Choice journals from Springer. Full Open Access journals are not part of the agreement.
To be able to use the Open Access option covered by Springer Compact, the corresponding author of the article must have specified Linköping University as their affiliation on the publication, have a valid LiU-ID and a LiU address.
If you have questions about the agreement or want us to come to your department for an information session, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
