Cite and refer
The aim of references and bibliographies is to let your readers find your sources.
There are several ways of citing and referencing sources and many styles to choose from. A few of the most popular e.g. Harvard, APA and Vancouver is found here.
Reference management software
To simplify referencing management, there are several tools, reference management software, available. With them you can collect, organize and present your references. You won't need to write bibliographies/lists of references manually - the software will take care of that. As a student or employee at LiU, you have access to two of them:
There are also other options, three of those are:
Zotero (free, Firefox compatible only)
Mendeley (free)
EndNote Desktop (software which is bought and installed to an indiviudal computer)
What are the differences between the tools?
